The Tough Guys: The Future of Mission Critical Label Printing

Epson provides high-performance and innovate label printers and their latest generations of label printers, the C6000A, C6000P, C6500A, and C6500P, offer many connectivity options including ZPL II, SAP, and other major middleware and Windows, Mac, and Linux support for seamless integration.

Epson’s focus on innovation and performance is reflected in their printers which are designed to deliver the highest print quality, at the most efficient rate, to significantly reduce the cost of consumables. Where inkjet printers use abundant amounts of ink per page to reach the highest quality, they subsequently increase the cost of consumables by creating the need to purchase more ink cartridges.

Needless to say, when it comes to the future of mission critical label printing, these are the “Tough guys“.

The Epson C6000A (Auto-Cutter) and C6000P (Peel-and-Present)

The first printer specifically designed as a color upgrade to black-and-white thermal transfer printers, the ColorWorks CW-C6000A and CW-C6000P inkjet printer delivers on-demand, 4″ color labels at a comparable price. Engineered for mission-critical applications, this reliable printer speeds through labels at up to 5″ per second. Featuring up to 1200 dpi resolution, the ColorWorks CW-C6000A and CW-C6000P produce crisp images comparable to pre-printed labels. Compatible with ZPL II, SAP®, and more, and built to accommodate remote printer management, this versatile printer offers seamless integration with your existing workflow. This is the first color inkjet label printer to offer a peel-and-present option, it’s ideal for fast, print-and-apply applications.

The C6000A/C6000P comes in either Gloss or Matte specifications. The gloss printer comes with black ink optimized for gloss label media, which works on the widest variety of substrates, compared to the matte black ink. The Matte printer comes with black ink that delivers a darker black on matte and plain paper label media, compared to the gloss black ink. This ink is not recommended for printing on gloss label media.
