Not on this page. This page covers the website. The commercial terms for hardware, supplies, software licences, service contracts and professional services are set out in your quotation, purchase agreement or service agreement with Ahearn & Soper Inc.

Those documents are issued to you directly and are not published on this website. If you do not have a copy, ask your Ahearn & Soper account manager or email marketing@ahearn.com and we will send it.

Nothing on this website is an offer to sell, a price commitment, a warranty or a service level commitment. Product and service descriptions here are for information. What you are entitled to is what your contract says.

What can you do with the content on this site?

Read it, print it, and share a link to it. You may quote a reasonable extract with attribution to Ahearn & Soper. You may not republish it as your own, sell it, build a derivative work from it, or copy it into a product. The content is protected by copyright.

What are you not allowed to do on this site?

Is there an AI chatbot on this site?

An AI chatbot is an automated system that answers questions using pre defined rules or machine learning. Where Ahearn & Soper runs one on this site, we label it clearly, so you always know whether you are talking to software or to a person.

This section applies to any chatbot we deploy. Where none is running on the site, nothing in it takes effect.

Any chatbot here is built for a narrow purpose and trained on Ahearn & Soper information. It is not a general purpose assistant or a large language model you can direct freely. Prohibited conduct applies to a chatbot exactly as it applies to the rest of the site.

Check anything a chatbot tells you before you act on it. We take reasonable care to keep it reliable and auditable, and we do not warrant that its answers are complete or accurate.

What does Ahearn & Soper promise about this website?

Very little, and deliberately so. The site and its content are provided as is and as available, at no charge, with no warranty of any kind. We do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted, that the content is current, or that information you send through it is secure in transit.

To the extent the law allows, we disclaim the implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non infringement in relation to this website and your use of it.

This section is about the website. It does not limit any warranty in a contract you hold with us for a product or a service.

What about the calculators and tools on this site?

They are planning aids. What they give you is an estimate, not a quotation.

The ROI calculator, the printer comparison and the label spec matcher work from the figures you enter and from published manufacturer specifications. They exist so you can size a decision before you spend anyone's time on it, including your own.

An estimate is not a quotation. Nothing these tools produce is a commitment on price, delivery, performance or suitability, and none of it forms part of a contract. Your operation will have constraints the tool never asked about. When you want figures you can hold us to, a specialist works through the detail with you and puts them in writing.

Who is liable if something goes wrong?

To the extent the law allows, Ahearn & Soper Inc. and its subsidiaries, affiliates, partners and suppliers are not liable for direct, indirect, consequential, punitive, special or incidental damages arising from your access to this website, your use of it, or your inability to use it.

Your only remedy for a dispute about the website is to stop using it.

Some provinces and states do not allow these exclusions. Where that is true for you, the exclusions apply only as far as the law permits and no further.

Which law governs these terms?

The laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there, without regard to conflict of law rules. The courts of Ontario have exclusive jurisdiction over any claim arising from your use of this website, and you agree not to argue that Ontario is an inconvenient forum.

Any claim you have about this website must be started within one year of the day the claim arose.

How do you report a copyright problem?

Send us a notice containing the six items listed below and we will act on it promptly. We respect other people's intellectual property and we remove material that infringes it. We may also end access for anyone who repeatedly infringes.

• Where the material you say is infringing sits on this website.
• An address, telephone number and email address where we can reach you.
• A statement that you believe in good faith that the use is not authorised by the owner, its agent or the law.

We may ask for more information before removing anything. If we remove material, we tell the person who posted it and may pass on your contact details so they can respond.

How do these terms relate to the privacy policy?

The privacy policy covers personal information. It names every service provider that processes it, states how long each kind of record is kept, and explains how to ask for a copy or a deletion. Read it alongside this page. By using this site you also accept the practices described there.

We post the new version on this page and change the last updated date at the top. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the new version. We do not notify individually, so check the date if it matters to you.
