Zenius 2, Primacy 2 and Quantum 2 print dye straight onto the card surface, edge to edge, at 300 x 300 dpi as standard. Agilia prints onto a film at 600 x 600 dpi, then fuses the film to the card, over the edge.
Rewrite is standard on Primacy 2: it prints, erases and prints the same card again. Zenius 2 also prints on rewritable cards. Both suit visitor passes and cards that change often.
Yes. All four take encoding options for magnetic stripe, contact and contactless cards. On Zenius 2, encoding comes with the Expert version. On Agilia, the magnetic encoder is fitted at the factory.
Quantum 2, with a 500 card hopper, a 500 card stacker, and up to 1,000 monochrome or 150 colour cards an hour. Primacy 2 also prints up to 1,000 monochrome cards an hour, from a 100 card feeder.
