Providing Goods and Services to People with Disabilities<\/h2>\r\n

Ahearn & Soper Inc. is committed to excellence in serving all customers including people with disabilities.<\/p>\n

Assistive devices<\/h3>\n

We will ensure that our staff are trained and familiar with various assistive devices we may have on site or that we may provide that may be used by customers with disabilities while accessing our goods or services.<\/p>\n

Communication<\/h3>\n

We will communicate with people with disabilities in ways that take into account their disability.<\/p>\n

Service animals<\/h3>\n

We welcome people with disabilities and their service animals. Service animals are allowed on the parts of our premises that are open to the public.<\/p>\n

Support persons<\/h3>\n

A person with a disability who is accompanied by a support person will be allowed to have that person accompany them on our premises. Fees will not be charged for support persons<\/p>\n

Notice of temporary disruption<\/h3>\n

In the event of a planned or unexpected disruption to services or facilities for customers with disabilities which include automatic door openers, ramps, large displays, text chat, or email communication, and employee assistance,\u00a0 Ahearn & Soper Inc. will notify customers promptly. This clearly posted notice will include information about the reason for the disruption, its anticipated length of time, and a description of alternative facilities or services, if available. The notice will be placed at www.ahearn.com<\/a> .<\/p>\n

Emergency Response<\/h3>\n

On request, Ahearn & Soper Inc. will provide tailored emergency response information for employees with disabilities that might make it difficult or impossible for them to be alerted by our standard emergency announcements or other audible alarms.<\/p>\n

Training<\/h3>\n

Ahearn & Soper Inc. will provide training to employees who deal with the public or other third parties on our behalf. \u00a0Training will also be provided to people involved in the<\/p>\n

development of policies, plans, practices and procedures related to the provision of our goods and services.<\/p>\n

Individuals in the following positions will be trained:<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Customer Service Representatives, Human Resources Administrator. This training will be provided to staff within 5 days of commencement of employment, and annually thereafter. Training will be done by means of a powerpoint presentation.<\/p>\n
